Nonnie,
If you read 5 minutes a day or 5 minutes a month, you are a reader.
If you finish 100 books a year or just one book a year or even half a book a year, you are a reader.
If you read a page, you are a reader.
If you love reading, YOU ARE A READER.
Hugs! <3

The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield. Never have i encountered such a beautiful description of the joys of reading, nor ever have I read a book with as huge of a twist. This book got me started on my full on obsession with reading.
thank you so much for the rec!! :)
Ooh! Yes yes yes! It is such a good book!! I didn’t want it to end! And I related so well to the descriptions of readers and reading!
I’m reading Beloved by Toni Morrison for one of my classes and it’s a very disturbing book but I actually kind of like it
sounds like the kinda book i wanna read
I had to read it in school. It’s hard to read because of the stream of consciousness, but it’s really good. Do recommend.
Friendly reminder that criticising a book or pointing out its problematic aspects does not equal shaming someone for what they read.
It is allowed and important to discuss problematic books.
I also think that as long as the reader is aware of the problems and isn’t idealizing a book but merely reading it for entertainment that there’s no reason to shame them.
Reading is for everyone.
I don’t care if you’re a girl.
I don’t care if you’re a guy.
I don’t care if you haven’t decided what gender you are yet.
I don’t care if you’re a dragon.
Or a sheep.
If you want to read, you pick of the damn book and read it.

This needs to be on a shirt, poster, mug, and everywhere else so everyone can see it!

Sometimes a book annoys me. Sometimes I can’t stop reading it anyway.
Yeps. The ending could surprise you.
sometimes the ending doesn’t even surprise me and i read all the sequels anyway
And just desperately hate everything and everyone for the next five books.
But please, if you’re reading a book that’s killing you, put it down and read something else, just as you would reach for the remote if you weren’t enjoying a TV program.

This sounds serious. I will help you.
First of all, I need details. Can you pick which 19 books to read? Can they be any 19 books in the world? And why do you have only 10 weeks to read these 19 books? Who has given you this mission and what happens if you fail? Is it your own personal reading challenge or something more serious? For example, are you being held at gunpoint right now? Should I alert the authorites that a possible kidnapping and/or forced reading situation is in progress? Is your life in danger?
Oh my God.
ARE YOUR BOOKS IN DANGER?!?!
